PIAB manufactures and markets pneumatic powered vacuum conveyors for transporting powders and granulate principally in the food, chemical and pharmaceutical industries.

Vacuum conveying provides customers with a fully enclosed and gentle transfer system. All our vacuum conveyors incorporate the Piab multistage COAX® vacuum technology to provide an efficient and adjustable means of generating vacuum.

Two vacuum conveyor ranges are available; piFLOW i / f and piFLOW p. Each range is based on a modular design and with various filtration options also available this allows us to tailor each build to specific customer applications.

Constructed from 304 grade stainless steel the piFLOW™i / f is a basic vacuum conveyor for general industry and lower specification requirements. It has a high throughput performance as well as a small foot print. This conveyor is often used as an alternative to mechanical conveyors when there is a requirement for dust free conveying or low maintenance. Transfer capacities up to 4 tonnes / hour. Basic FDA requirements can also be met along with ATEX certification if required.

The piFLOW p is constructed from 316L grade stainless steel. Designed with USDA requirements in mind, this product is applied when premium technology is needed particularly in the food and pharmaceutical industries and with transfer capacities up to 15 tonnes / hour we can meet the majority of application demands.
