The Wolfson Centre for Bulk Solids Handling Technology, is part of the School of Engineering at The University of Greenwich, Kent.

The Wolfson Centre for Bulk Solids Handling Technology, is part of the School of Engineering at The University of Greenwich at Medway. It offers research and consultancy services to industries that are involved with particulates handling or processing. Consultancy is available for site inspections of troublesome plant, conveying trials, hopper design for reliable operation, consistency of discharge into packaging equipment or processes, segregation, degradation and “caking”.

In addition, research facilities can be utilised to trial equipment or investigate bulk solids flow properties. Educational short courses (click on brochure for details) and on-site courses for industry are also offered, covering: Hopper & Silo Design, Pneumatic Conveying, Overview of Bulk Solids Handling Technology and Product Quality.

The Wolfson Centre can also advise and assist companies that wish to take on postgraduate students under the Teaching Company Scheme.
